The 1st watt is where all of our music content is contained. The 2nd watt is needed to propel the music out into the listening room. If you increase the power beyond 2W, you compromise the sound quality. This amplifier and the pair of 45 tubes provides a sound quality that exceeds the best solid state and other tube amps.
